I haven't seen Mr Aloha Joe around for a couple days. Thought I'd post this quote from his LiveJournal -- it's the last thing I've heard from him.
"My mom has been sick for a while now. She had the flu, then it became pneumonia. Then her ankles started swelling up. That night (Saturday) we took her to the emergency room and the doctor was a bit of a jerk and told her to see her regular doctor on Monday. So we did. Her doctor tooks some x-rays and such and said she needed to go to the hospital, so we took her to the hospital today. And when they saw her legs, they immediately started hooking her up to stuff. My dad had to take my uncle back home, so we left the hospital and when we came back, they were getting her ready to go to the ICU. Which was a bit unexpected. They're going to do some type of scan on her and a lung specialist is going to come in tomorrow. Apparently, the right side of her heart is pumping faster than her left and it should be the other way around or something like that. She's been in a lot of pain for a while now. I'm just hoping they can make her all better.

We're thinking of you, Joe! Tell her to get well soon! _________________ If you eat only one book this year...
